Brush Hood Heavy duty steel construction    Detailed Specifications and Pictures Mount          The Xtreme Sweep is three-point hitch style, rear mounted mechanical driven sweeper. The universal attachment allows the the Xtreme Sweep to mount to all makes and models of tractors with a catoegory one or two PTO Drive The unit is power driven from the rear PTO via a double C/V joint telescoping drive shaft through a heavy duty 90-degree gear box to a second double C/V joint telespcoping drive shaft. These heavy duty shafts elminate the problem of broken universal joints due to binding Swivel The Xtreme Sweep sweeps forward and swivels manually 30 degrees left or right. This allows the debris to be swept in windrow fashion to the outside of the tractor width. Broom The standard broom is 6 foot in length and has 32" diameter half wire, half poly wafers. The half and and half wafer set is composed of 21 polypropylene and 20 wire wafer sections completely assembled. Other broom lenghts are available. Brush Hood The brush hood is constructed of 16 gauge heavy duty steel and is fitted with two 1/8" thick side plates for longer wear. The side plates are designed to help keep bent bristles and other debris from getting outside the hood. A dust hood defelctor plate and rubber curtain is standard and protects the operator from dirt and dust. Leg Stands Four drop leg stands support the broom when not attached to the tractor. This helps decrease the chance of damaging the broom during storage. General Construction The drive shafts, chain guard, gear box and bearings are all of heavy duty constution and designed to withstand stress equal to and greater than those involved in the sweeping process. Paint All metal parts are thoroughly cleaned, primed, painted and dried separately. Each part is primed with a rust inhibitor primer and is painted with two coats of automotive quality paint. The parts are then assembled on the unit so that bolts, nuts, cables and grease fittings are not painted. Paint color is Xtreme Green Assembly No assembly is required.
